Elena is a mixed media artist.  She works specifically with Italian fragment artifacts, and her artistic practice is an exercise in which historic preservation meets modern art.  She's interested in themes of transcendence and rebirth, and the pieces she creates are each a visual enactment of the beauty of evolution in which the past is both honored and included but also transcended.
